Just installed this on one of our systems and honestly it looks way cleaner than I expected. Fit was snug around the head but not too tight, and the flap makes it easy to check the screen without taking the whole thing off. It didn’t look bulky or cheap.

The exterior is tough and sturdy. You can tell the insulation will be effective due to good cotton interior and the reflective surface on the inside. There is a lot to like here: you can order to fit your tank exactly; the velcro and grommet design allows zip-tie (provided, or you can use whatever you like) tie-off and being able fit it snuggly around intake and outflow pipes, as well as being able to instantly open and re-close the velcro seal to read the meter. Very glad I bought this item!

I live in South Texas and we get a lot of hot summer weather and we also get fall/winter storms that can quickly drop the temperature to 20 degrees or lower. My water well presure tank and plumbing is on a 8' x 8' cement slab. At the moment, there is no building protecting the plumbing from heat, wind, and freezing temperatures. This pressure tank cover is high quality and very easy to slip over the tank, slide it down, and use the velcro and some nylon parachute cord to close the bottom. MEASURE YOUR TANK CAREFULLY TO ENSURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT COVER! The results are great! The sun cannot heat the pressure tank water and the cold could not freeze the pressure tank water, either. Afterwards, in my ranch house, we noticed the water temperature settled down to a nice average of 68 degrees, proof that this cover is doing its job. Before, the water temperature varied anywhere from 86 down to 45 degrees, dependent upon weather.
Works well. Good insulation and coverage for my pressure/holding tank. The bottom has velcro that helps to keep it in place. Great value for the money. I had to order the tan one because it was the only one in stock, but it actually worked out and I liked the way it blends in.
Highly recommend. A well-made, well-designed and easy-to-apply insulated cover for unprotected pressure tanks. I needed something that could withstand the hard freezes (around 10 degrees) that have occurred of late. This Redford's insulated cover does the job admirably. The fitted cover took only a few minutes to put on. Well-secured Velcro strips along all openings and grommets along two sides (short zip ties are included) help you to quickly fasten the cover over the tank. Available in different sizes and in two neutral colors. Best if your tank is stand-alone, but I was able to enclose the control box.
